The news making rounds these days is that the much anticipated Ethereum 2.0 is going to be launched very soon as all the processes within the system have been completed successfully and the launch is expected to take place in the mid of the coming month.
Most recently, Christine Kim of CoinDesk established contact with the developers of Ethereum 2.0 namely Mr. Eduardo Antuna and Mr. Raul Joddan, and enquired about when it will be launched and what’s new in it for the users. The developers told CoinDesk that Ethereum 2.0 is for the time being undergoing its final phases and will be launched very soon once they are able to conduct its pilot test.
Paul Jordan under whose auspices and leadership the software has been developed also informed CoinDesk that it took him and his team at least 2 years to develop the software and now everything within the software has been put in place, it will be launched in the mid of October 2020, more precisely on 15th October.
The features of the software include a friendlier user interface, it contains better documentation than ever before, and provides high-end security protocol, said Paul Jordan.
He also said that currently, the software is going through the process of ensuring that the users are able to acquire validator rewards without the threat of losing. Not to forget, many issues occurred when the Ethereum blockchain was supplied with different codes and the blockchain was unable to process them. However, the problem relating to different codes implementation has been taken care of and the new Ethereum 2.0 is equipped with the ability to provide the user to apply different codes without any hindrance, told Jordan.
CoinDesk has also been informed that the software is also undergoing last-minute changes where more features have been added to provide the users best working experience on the software.
Diez also told CoinDesk that a new contract will be introduced in the current Ethereum blockchain at the time of the launch of Ethereum 2.0. Additionally, after receiving deposits of minimum 524,288 ETH, the Ethereum 2.0 will automatically kick-start.
